Jackson Henry ‘Jack’ Clendenin

Jackson Henry “Jack” Clendenin, 85, of Rockwood, Illinois, passed away at 9:58 am, Sunday, May 8, 2022 at his residence.

 

He was born to the late Harry and Clara (nee Husband) Clendenin on May 13, 1936 in Degognia, Illinois.

 

Jack married Cynthia Brokoetter on June 5, 1965 at St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Illinois.

 

He had worked as a correctional officer at Menard Correctional Center in Chester and was also a farmer.

 

Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. He loved to spend time with his dog Cuddles and loved his farm. He was a jack of all trades and could figure out how to do most things if he had to.

 

He was an Army Veteran.
