Ste. Genevieve aldermen will discuss redistricting during May 26 work session

STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Board of Aldermen will take another look at a redistricting of the city’s wards when it meets Thursday night, following the regular board meeting.

The aldermen are also expected to discuss changes in the city’s collection of water bills, to thwart renters who move out, leaving their landlord to pay the bill.

The aldermen will also be asked to consider applying for a Transportation Alternative Grant. City Administrator Happy Welch says it would be nice to connect the sidewalk on South Fourth Street from where it stops just of Cedar Lane to Rozier Street where it would connect to an existing sidewalk system.

The tentative agenda packet for the meeting, which is open to the public and will be televised live on SteGenTV Channel 991 and the SteGenTV You Tube Channel. After the meeting is concluded, the video will be archived on the SteGenTV You Tube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/Stegentv
