A memorial service will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 for 74-year-old Brenda M. French of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.
She was born December 13, 1947 in Norton, Virginia to Everett Arthur and Idell Barbara (Bohnert) Williams who both preceded her in death.
She and Roger Clovis French were married on April 11, 1970. He survives in Perryville.
Survivors include a son: Thomas (Nancy) French of Perryville, Mo.; three sisters, Cecilia (Robert) Ponder of St. Louis, Mo., Sandra Basler of Perryville, Mo., and Diane Koenig of Tampa, Florida; and two grandchildren: Thomas and Erica French.
She was preceded in death by two infant sisters, Iris and Darlene Williams; a brother: Ralph Williams; and two brothers-in-law: Richard Basler and Robert Koenig.
Brenda was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Brenda was retired from working 33 years at Independence Care Center of Perry County as the laundry and house cleaning supervisor.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2022 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A memorial service for 74-year-old Brenda M. French of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Deacon Direk Hunt officiating.
Burial will be Friday, May 13, 2022 at 2:15 pm at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in Jefferson Barracks, Mo.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or St. James Catholic Church in Crosstown.
