A funeral will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2021 for 94-year-old Maxine M. Abernathy of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Delmar Gardens South in St. Louis, Mo.
She was born July 4, 1927 in Belgique, Mo. to Thurman J. and Chloe A. (Weith) Colin who both preceded her in death.
She and Orville F. Abernathy were married on July 27, 1946. He preceded her in death on January 19, 2000.
Survivors include her daughter: Joy (Wayne) Schloss of Saint Louis, Mo.; two grandchildren, Lisa (Al) Chenot and Tim (Julie) Schloss; and six great grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Jacob, Sara, Joey and Henry.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
A funeral for 94-year-old Maxine M. Abernathy of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Perryville with Rev. Mathew Marks officiating.
Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
