COVID-19 cases in Ste. Gen Co. rise, drop slightly in Perry Co.

JEFFERSON CITY — The apparent surge of COVID-19 cases in Missouri seems to be continuing as the seven day total of confirmed and probable cases was 9,737 for the week ending November 16. The number of deaths was 15.

The average number of confirmed and probable cases per day is now 1,391.

The case total for Missouri since the pandemic began is 890,433 There have been 12,423 deaths.

The vaccination rate in Missouri is 50.6 percent.

There were 41 confirmed and probable cases in Perry County for the seven days ending November 16th for a daily average of 5.9.

There have been 3,447 confirmed and probable cases and 38 confirmed and probable deaths in Perry County since the pandemic began in March 2020.

There were 22 confirmed and probable cases in Ste. Genevieveve County for the same period, a daily average of 3.1.
